  this is the first image of the convicted child groomer who confessed to her jehovah’s witness congregation that she groomed a boy from the age of 14 before having sex with him two years later.. .

  perverted pamela lonergan, who went on to work in childcare settings and as a carer in the community, admitted four counts of defilement of a child under the age of 17.. the offences occurred at locations in kerry and cork in 2008 and 2009.. appearing before cork circuit court earlier this month, lonergan of treanmanagh, glenbeigh, co kerry, received a one year jail sentence for the offences.. speaking afterwards, one local said the community had been stunned to learn of lonergan’s abuse.. he said another neighbour had met lonergan on the road the week before the trial and she had told him she was moving up to cork for a while.. “ obviously she thought her name wasn’t going to be disclosed in the media,” he said.. “if the victim hadn’t waived his anonymity to allow this happen, she’ have come back here when she got out and we’d have been none the wiser.”.

  cork circuit criminal court heard lonergan was 26 when she first started initiating contact with the minor, having met him in a social setting.

  ive been in 3 different congregations--except there were not different--all the same. Mostly dominant women accompanied by thick as shit husbands. Nutters left over from the Rutherford era. Lifes misfits. Non- achievers in the real world.

  even elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.

  they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.

  i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

  the assembly hall i believe used to be a reformed school for boys and was completely renovated and dedicated in 1985.. it was the only assembly hall i knew of that sold souvenir pens, book marks and notepads.. .

  thankfully i was long gone before the hayes bridge era--in fact i never heard the name at all till i joined this site.

  i do remember some names mentioned--bro Ellis--is that Peter?--i knew him as a circO in the West Midlands ( UK) in the 60s.

  Wilf Gooch--branch servant . I actually liked his talk manner at assemblies. He stayed at a friends house for holidays here on the Isle of Wight.

  Ken Richmond--CircO in the same circuit mentioned above--early 70's i think--stayed at my parents house several times on circ visits. ( Birmingham )
